Can I open old files in the new Project online?
Yes, Project plans from earlier versions of Project can be used in the new Project Online providing users with all the benefits of new product or service. To avoid compatibility issues when sharing your new Project files with Project 2007 users, save your project as a Project 2007 file format. (Note – Project 2016, 2013, and 2010 share the same file format.)
How many Project app downloads do I have?
You will be able to download and install your new Project applications on up to 5 desktops/laptops. Please note, that these 5 application downloads are intended to be used for the assigned user. If other users require access to the Project applications, they will need license assigned to them.
Difference between Project Online & Project Server?
Project Online is Microsoft’s latest online project portfolio management service delivered through Office 365. Project Server 2016 is Microsoft’s on-premise project portfolio management product.
How can I access Project Web App?
You can access the Project Web App (PWA) through Project Online or Project Online with Project Professional for Office 365.
